A lightweight application that allows users to test and improve their piano playing skills through a game that mimics many features of the real instrument

Synthesia is a simple and user-friendly utility that was designed to be a fun yet functional method of learning to play the piano.

The application can easily be used on a standard computer keyboard, as opposed to other utilities that generally require a music keyboard.

The program includes a default song selection component to get you started (all of which are popular theme songs from very well-known videogames).

Also, note that you can use just about any MID file with Synthesia, which turns it into pretty much a never-ending musical entertainment.
